Not exactly the same but as is often said of markets, it rhymes. Crypto is a scam.

At least crypto imploding at this point shouldn't hurt the real economy too much. Just people with 'blockchain specialties' (marketers) might not get way too much money for basically something that could be learned in an hour or two (unless they are an actual dev).

All that said, went ahead and gambled on MSTR @ $148. Figured pretty decent risk/reward. Crypto could be at some kind of IT bottom... definitely a capitulation type move.

I think we can safely call that one a crash....

Bitcoin has a 90% crash EVERY 4 years, but the same people always say scam and going to zero at the very times they could have been averaging down. I called for 7500 this year, I am waiting.

Nobody here has any clue about crypto, people are so short term focused.

Crypto is nothing but hot air. It has no use. All gambling. It's too volatile for usage except for underground transactions or fleeing persecution. That is something 99.99% of the population would never use. It has been touted as a hedge against inflation for many years. How's that working out? I am thinking of the word con. Nearly all buyers at this point in time are underwater. As for averaging down, that is no way to trade. If you read any respected successful trader, they advise never average down your losses. Again, this crypto circus reminds me of the 2000 dotcom foolishness. I was there and watched people I knew, lose their shirt.
