We are at an 8/24 TD low for the NDX with a double irregular formation. They are shooting the generals and the troops are advancing today in thin pre-Holiday volume!
A third of a third wave of Y is now expected on the NDX into Thursday that has a huge plethora of financial info coming out. This means a huge gap up coming. I expect we see an "Abandoned Baby" top. A move into the mid to upper 5270's SPX is expected (perhaps the low 5280s' max).
The lunar eclipse last Monday (2 TD's ago) was in the sign of Libra at 5 degrees. In 2 past instances in March (2005 & 2018), dealing with a full moon in that aspect, we saw large drops around that aspect at the same time we dealt with Mercury RX in the fiery sign of Aries. This time, the full moon was eclipsed. Mercury RX enters Aries late Monday in the moon sign of Capricorn in square aspect as the moon enters its waning last quarter.
According to Merriman, there are usually lag time influences when the sun/moon combo eclipses both before and after. The thin trading before the Easter Holiday Weekend can easily move markets with little volume and the trend tends to be bullish into Thursday. We also have Venus in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus tomorrow and the market must go up before it comes down. 11 TD's or 8+3 is technically a 16 TD -5 low, creating a 27 TD low. The previous 5 week low was 24 TD's ago off the 10 week lows of January making it 51 TD's near Gann's 48 TD low. The 10/20/40 TD method looks at 50 TD's plus or minus 7.5/8 TD's.
Everything now points to a strong rally into the day after the April 8 solar eclipse from Tuesday's expected low. This hard low could easily fall into the 4930/50 SPX range next week. Venus sextile Uranus means surprises ahead and Mercury Rx in Aries means the trickster enhances this crazy up and down behavior coming (through April 25/26 +/- 2TD's), where the expected A wave low of Z should occur (likely on April 29 when the moon is in Capricorn). A final low should not hit until late May's last 5 TD week, May 20-25 according to two sources, one astro-wise (C. Skinner) and the other cycle-wise (E. Hadik).
PS. Please refer to my previous post for clear understanding, as this is an extension...blu
