You were no doubt even more outraged by the $535 Million Solyndra fraud and waste.If I were a taxpayer I'd be much madder about spending $500 million on "moderate" Syrian rebels than supporting green energy.

The Obama administration asked Congress on Thursday to authorize $500 million to provide U.S. military training and equipment to "moderate" Syrian rebels.
The human cost is great for both warfare and the green energy scheme.
But at least politicians will profit nicely from our loss.
Gas is $4+ in many areas today and that hurts the poor.
And while building a pipeline would offer jobs to the poor, it would cut into billionaire Tom Steyer and his business partner's profits.
Besides, he is donating to save the planet. wink wink
Never mind that he’s a major investor in solar-energy projects that compete with fossil fuels.
