As long as the volume stays light, the green light is on for distribution...

There's no sign of any distribution right now from my work...more like rotation from the large caps and into the Mid and Small caps on the "promise" of cheaper money ahead.

Buy signals technically negated. They (as previously mentioned) are short term anyway and subject to a lot of whipsaw. Maybe the current intraday bounce sticks.....maybe it doesn't. Out. Still doing very well over the last few months but just took some losses in all three accounts. One was a little more than it should have been due to my stubbornness. Wish I could eliminate that but it WILL happen again. Just had to trade what I saw on the screen. AND, it bothered me that the OEX boys were loading up on puts this morning. Furthermore, sector rotation makes me nervous. It usually happens near tops. The good part is......I live to trade again. I feel rather bad that I didn't short that double top on the SPX a couple of days ago. So close and, not only an easy stop, but an easy reversal stop as well. Just wasn't prepared that day. I am in the middle of closing down my business (and liquidating inventory and equipment) and have been very busy over the last two or three weeks with that.

Well...you're not going to get every top or bottom tick, and until breadth gets out of its funk, both sides are likely to be frustrated.

Sorry to hear of your closing...may I ask if it was it planned or prodded by business conditions??

Business has been very successful over the last few years but decided to close due to a legislative issue that was going to affect the distribution of a product that I held a federal license to distribute. Been doing this a long time and just didn't want to go through the process again that would be required to replace the lost sales. May was, in fact, the most profitable month in the history of my business but the change had yet to affect sales. So closed distribution in mid June. Planned it for a few months and planned it well. But still......there was a lot of stuff in my warehouse. Worse than moving.

It's TIME folks... TIME.

Again, make sure you have adequate supplies of everything you need to survive for some time...

The German Government just mandated that citizens have at least a 10 day emergency supply of everything needed for survival...

Doesn't have to be unfortunate - if you take precautions it won't be...

Some of us made a lot of money in a very short amount of time during the crash of 2008-2009.

So it's up to me to decide to be a bagholder victim or to play the tape...

This market gives very robust signals on the way to hell...

Never fade the GS chart... they always get it right.

When you see the market flying on a sharp retracement, look at GS, it will give you the correct signal.

And when the market is tanking hard, if you see GS rallying, it's time to get out of the way...

Don't get me wrong, the general direction is DOWN, but if you TRADE IT, you can MAXIMIZE profits and AVOID TERRIBLE RISK.

As far as GS is concerned today... it's telling us NOT TO SHORT YET...  Higher highs on STRONGER VOLUME - QUALITY OF VOLUME to the UPSIDE...

Sure you can short intraday, but until this turns down, you can get BURNED big time holding a short overnight...

Now having said that, I do fully expect that when the whistle blows, it will be overnight... with a gap down on volume.

The big hands in this market do not want the little guys (us) to be short...

GS is probably the best-behaved chart in the universe - do not fade it...

Wait until we get the wind at our backs, then we'll have the proper ODDS for shorting...

You are right, I know this trick with GS, was following it for years. Thanks.
