if the recount mattered, it would have affected the market by now; it's already baked in and should not be taken seriously

i wish we had gotten blu's swoon. today didn't help me resolve anything, continue mildly bullish but hoping for a 1% selloff to fully load up long again. i feel we are still in no man's land. a more powerful move either way might offer some clues.

Save those Wednesday Wolf Tickets... here's a late read from this afternoon:
Well, well... I just finished my panel of forecasts for tomorrow... and while Nasdaq made a new all time high today, some of the sector charts I looked at are showing signs of weakness. I guess the Nasdaq was all MSFT today, a highly weighted component... outside of that I struggled to see the strength underneath this. In fact... in the FINAL HOUR - NASDAQ HAD IT"S FACE RIPPED OFF ON MONSTER HOURLY VOLUME - strongest we've seen in weeks, so we'll see if there's follow through on that tomorrow. Your leadership stocks GS and AAPL can't seem to break out of long sideways patterns... The Oil stocks are just FLAT UGLY. Crude and gold are not looking too hot either.

NASDAQ RED....
Semi,
Do you actively follow Russell 2000 ($RUT, $IWM) ? How's the volume on that holding up to your measures/studies?

OK for RUT today, this is what I have, posted yesterday after the close:
RUT SHALLOWER PULLBACK ON STRONGER VOLUME - RUT made a lower low today, but not much lower at 1327.02 and finished the day at 1328.22 or down just slightly - 1.61. So we have a consolidation at the low, a lower low and a lower closing low and it also finished under previous day's low, all not positive signs for RUT, so we haven't seen much of a bounce here, we suspect there will be another rally attempt, but it's starting not to look good in the short term, but to keep it in perspective now RUT is only 19 points from the ALL TIME HIGH made on Friday

NASDAQ DOWN 20
RUT led it along with DJT earlier in the week.
If that sounds familiar, that was how it was all the way up to new highs on those 2.
So today it is Nasdaq's turn.
