Much of yesterday's late session sell off was news related...the explosion in DC and the blackout that followed. Money continues to move in aggressively...and we're still "oversold". Fib

Is money moving in aggressively or a huge top forming?

I refer to those as "platforms", in this case a platform of highs, and the implication is normally higher, looks like a bad print is there to be tested at 11334.65, so that can be tested, then we see. The important thing to remember about platforms is they are powerful compressed trading zones and either serve as very strong support or very strong resistance once they are resolved and we move out of the range.

You're providing anecdotal longer term evidence that has no real bearing on short term money flow dynamics.

I will point out that if you look at the RSI, we haven't seen a large decline until we test the 50% level, bounce, and THEN go down and through this same level.

For now...your chart presents a well deserved pause to refresh on the a monthly basis.

RSI works great as a confirming indicator for rallies or declines with any system.

My guess is we will bounce around a bit more here before breaking north.
