Haven't posted anything on Hurst cycles in quite some time. I did post that we were due a 9 month cycle low anytime from mid September to late October and possibly all the way to late November when you took into account what appeared to be a lengthened 20 week cycle to 22 or 23 weeks. Here is a chart of the cycle lows going back to June of 2006. The price lows occured right on the blue line for each time period. Since the March 2007 lows cycles have been running longer.

Airedale had the marked cycles as 20 week lows and I don't do any cycle phasing, but to my eye they fit better as 40 week lows. That puts the next 9 month low in the August September time frame.
Now on to another cycle. Since the August 2007 lows there has been a what seems to be a very reliable cycle. Normally I only pay attention to the 9 month and 20 week cycle's but this has been very consistent for 4 periods now so I thought it worth a look. Each low led to a nice rally even if it didn't last that long. A low is projected anywhere from this past Wednesday through next Friday when averaging out the last 4 periods and using that plus or minus a few days. Projections won't be much help if we break down as they can't generate much lower projections.

That Feb 19-20 date...keeps popping up. (OPEX)
NYMO held it's uprend line today.
If it can hold the current uptrend pattern might produce a big pop up. Like tomorrow.
But as you said: "Projections won't be much help if we break down"
