Food stamp receipt on record pace
2/14/2009
Oklahoma is on pace to break a record in the number of people receiving food stamps in one month.
In January, the state missed the record by 746 people, said DHS spokesman George Johnson.
The highest number of people receiving food stamps in one month came in December 2005 with 443,045 people. Last month, 442,299 Oklahomans were given food stamps.

Good thing Oklahoma is doing better than many states. <_<

where Is OK on the fat butt scale? is it near texas, your close friend and neighbor? i hear TX was #1 for fat butts. maybe they ought to weigh the butts before they give them any stamps. that's the H1 food stamp plan.

A good part of these people will be at one of the many Indian Casinos on the first of the month, with a cigarette in their mouth, in line for the buffet.

I have several friends who have gone to work for the casinos who just love it.
Two are in security and one left teaching (retired?) to manage the shuttle buses.

The main charter flight to Las Vegas ceased operations last year.
Tulsa ain't Vegas, but the casinos here will still take your money and make you think it was fun.

Only with live music. ;)

The picture above must be fake.
The people I saw at the casino had folded up "Will Work for Food" signs in their pocket.
