though the stated average is only around 7.6 we will shirley hit 9% +. Many states now are hoveringaround 10. those are the reported stats. you know. the "OFFICIAL" ones. real numbers are like closer to 13% instead of 7.6. Anyhoo, the reported stats will hit 15%+ before year end in a number of states. Here's my list of the newly minted 15% er's this year. 1. MI- no brainer 2. FLA 3. CA 4. RI 5. NY 6. GA 7. KY 8. OH 9. IN 10. MO 11. OR 12. NV 13. IL 14. AL 15. MS and/or TN (tied) Yep the 15 who will surely hit 15% unemployment. Oh yeah. DC falls into the above but its hardly a state. its more like a state of denial.
