This I am starting to think as well, if so then gold will have downward pressure on it for some time and could decline quite a lot more. HUI may eventually head toward 300. Bueno time to be cautious and make no grande bets, do some trading and that's about it.

yep. but the dollar gold disconnect can happen at any time too. we need to be prepared for both tho rise at some point

Senor , I'm out too, I bailed out at HGU 10.50, But re-entered at the close at 10.03. I believe an ABC up is unfolding with B just about finished.
