STOCKS, that is an eye opener.
They "cherry picked" trees and changed thermometer placement, just in time to "prove" warming. WOW!
It looks like they may need to move more to volcano locations to keep the temps up, IF we are headed into a period of cooling.
I've often considered the reliability of thermometers in year's past.
But since the 1700's, Daniel Fahrenheit and Anders Celsius' thermometers were calibrated using the freezing point vs boiling point of pure water.
Thus there should be no variance from then to now in the actual instrument.

PROOF OF "Global Climate Disruption":
My first earthquake just happened a little after 9am.
Oklahoma has been feeling quite a few lately.
"Believers" say earthquakes are caused by man's greed.
US Earthquake center says A 4.5 was centered south of Oklahoma City, 6 miles east of Norman (near OU), 3 miles deep.
BOOMER SOONER!

How about this for climate disruption?... (the only problem is that it was 99 years ago!)
Odd Oklahoma Weather Record Set 99 Years Ago Today
Posted: Nov 11, 2010
NORMAN, Oklahoma (AP) -- A unique weather record was set in Oklahoma 99 years ago. Both the highest temperature and the lowest temperature recorded on November 11th were set on November 11th, 1911.
Associate State Climatologist Gary McManus says Oklahoma City reached a record high of 83 degrees during the afternoon before a cold front rolled through. The temperature then plunged 66 degrees to 17 degrees by midnight.
Both records still stand, marking the date as the only date in state history in which the record high and low temperatures were broken on the same day for a single location.
The National Weather Service forecasts Thursday's highs in Oklahoma City in the upper 60s and lows are expected in the mid 50s.
(That sound like less chaos to me.)
