Here's a thought based on SPX. Oct 2002 low to Oct 2007 high was 5 years or 60 months. Some like McLaren call for a major low about Oct 2012 so:- Oct 2007 high to Mar 2009 low was 17 months. Mar 2009 low to May 2011 high 26 months (approx 17 X 1.5). May 2011 to Oct 2012 is another 17 months. That would be 60 months down to match the 60 months up.
