There's more than $1.2 trillion of reserves in the US banks alone, that sit idle. Liquidity doesn't mean squat there and wont revive or stimulate the US economy. The entire world lives or dies by the US economy. Thats just a fact.
Injecting more liquidity via whatever flavor or brand they wish to call it, into any of the other banking cartels, does ZERO to solve any of the underlying problems. The debt is still all there, and has to be written off or defaulted upon, and the big phat cats who loaned the money need to take their lumps. Greece doesn't deserve a dime more of money. Neither do any of the piggish sovereigns.
All the banks and institutions who made the bad decisions need to be allowed to collapse. Period. I don't buy the garbage that the masses will be hurt by that, or the "system" will freeze up. It won't. Sure people may have some temporaray pain, but the big people and big banks need and deserve massive pain, so they dont pull this crap anymore. People in high places need to be put in jail, and the corporatacracy needs to be allowed to fail, and fail big. Bailing anyone out, is immoral, offensive, and destructive to all of civilization, rather than the handful of big cats who made the bad decisions, who individually stay far wealthier than any of us will ever be, will the masses will suffer for decades if they allow these idiots to be bailed.
Its really a sick sick time in the world economy. Civilization has become so uncival, as to make a mockery of of every instutional premise that represents any level of truth or honesty. For none exists.
