Look at these charts on this free page; note rising volatility skews are bearish.
NDX has been weakening, still up last week, but Friday's relatively weak NDX action suggests a pullback, albeit a shallow one. We shall see

The article on covered calls is rather amateurish, especially for BARRONS. He does not tell you about the downside to covered calls etc
