Here is another indicator showing deteriorating internals. divergenceence is obvious. As the market moves higher it is carried by fewer and fewer stocks. This is a classic indication of a topping process. As bull markets die, one by one, individual stocks start entering their own private bear markets. In the end all but a few issues end up joining them. As some already know, I have been building a portfolio of short positions to hold throughout what I believe will be a significant bear market. For 2012 I don't own any bragging rights, at least not yet. I am down about 21% for the year.
