Everything on my system is suggesting VST buys ahead. Perhaps at today's close, maybe tomorrow's open, or not long after. Then expect ST sells to follow soon after. (ST = for several days to a week) For now, I'm expecting a roller coaster mkt like this for the next several weeks. Shallow drops, with nearly untradable upside spurts. Then more dead water. Too soon for me to say if much changes in Oct.
