I'm adding MITT here.
What I think is going to happen.. tapering or not... The purchases of mortgage paper is the last thing the Fed will taper.
The stocks have been heavily discounted and present a great buying opportunity as they are starting to come off the lows.
Economy will be weak and crappy. Incomes aren't growing, consumer spending is going to get weaker as savings are depleted.
Sequester takes its full effect next year too.
Fixed income stuff is way overdone. Yields are now excellent on some of these things, and once the tapering panic is over, the money should start flowing back in.
NLY, MITT and other insiders continue loading up on Mortgage REITS.

Mr Gundlach agrees with you.

I am watching REM, but not ready to pull the trigger yet.

People think the Holy Grail is something looked for but never found. In fact, it is something often found but rarely recognized.

Yes, I saw that. I'm in good company
I don't really care if I catch the exact bottom here or not, Yields are very compelling.
