Comes from my scientific training that there is only one root cause.

Remember that "Health Insurance" is not "Health Care"
Maybe this Princeton & Harvard scholar is "Uninsured" because good plans are not available at a free market price.
Many young, healthy, brilliant people know that they can self-insure and beat the $20,000K annual cost for insurance (premiums plus co-pays and deductibles). Many have their own concierge doctors on call.
That is exactly why a penalty for no "insurance" was imposed. The plans are STUPID.
Intelligent people don't like STUPID plans. They like great medical CARE.
I self insured for 10 years and bought a nice $200,000 home with the money I saved.
Our medical costs were never over $3k annually, and that year involved a hospital visit.
Amazing how that worked for the past 200 years, before the government got involved, and blew costs sky high.

So it is looking like a lot of people know a bad deal when they see it, even if they are penalized by the authoritarian fascists.
Many people opt for basic health care rather than a pie in the sky insurance policy which charges elderly men for maternity care and sex changes.
Enrollment growth in Obamacare slower than expected...
Reflecting slower than anticipated enrollment growth in health insurance purchased through the Affordable Care Act, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office has lowered its estimate of how many people will get coverage through the law in 2016.
In any given month this year, about 13 million people on average are now expected to be enrolled in a health plan purchased on a marketplace created by the law, often called Obamacare.
That is down from 21 million people previously estimated by the budget office.
BOTTOM LINE: IT STINKS!

Only a monopoly could get by with lousy customer service.
Wait until the government is in full control of your health care. Think: VA.
IRS: 8 MILLION unanswered phone calls, only 40% of calls reached a real human person!
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The IRS' overloaded phone system hung up on more than 8 million taxpayers this filing season as the agency cut millions of dollars from taxpayer services to help pay to enforce President Barack Obama's health law.
For those who weren't disconnected, only 40 percent actually got through to a person. And many of those people had to wait on hold for more than 30 minutes, IRS Commissioner John Koskinen said Wednesday.

well the utility monopolies are just as bad - and also my health care providers and pretty much everything if you are not calling the new sales extension!
