It has to do with incentives which are assumed out of Ivy League economic models. Modern derivatives were born about years ago. Since a small move in an underlying security causes a larger move in its derivative, there is a natural incentive to buy the derivative and manipulate the underlying security. In the absence of deterrents, incentives are followed.
In over 40 years, derivatives have come to completely dominate trading. Laws that prevent price manipulation are not enforced. Given that situation, underlying securities are manipulated constantly and certain entities have used government to position themselves above the law.

The trading public still believes the old rules apply, but they don't. What you are noticing is normal in today's market.

What he said. I'm not trying to be a conspiracy theorist, but when you seen it happen so often, blatantly, you really get a sense that some people dgaf anymore. There are no real deterrents. Get caught? No problem, just rat out everyone and write a tell all, explaining to nitwits some of what you did. No real jail time. Destroying the integrity of a system now built to define America, with constant stimulus and tax dodging, and you threaten another global depression. But who cares, as long as you've become too rich to hurt. Now imagine everyone in the system playing by that moral code.

Conspiracy theorist a term people like use to accuse others of spontaneous irrational thought. Look at any situation and find something that is not part of popular conversation and you are likely to be labeled as a conspiracy theorist.

Yeah, it is a dampening mechanism meant to strip critical thinking. Don't think I was trying to call you or your statements a part. In thisnsystem, when so much is now tied to Minority Reports to quell dissent, coupled with a banking system that can question your legitimacy and freeze your accounts at a drop a hat, we tend to try to play on the safe side of public discourse and information dissemination. We've lost our backbone. We are not willing to get into an entrenched fight for reason and ideas, settling on easy ad hominems and character issues.

We all have issues. It's just that unchecked sociopaths both breed more and they get off watching the world burn. We can't check them, because we have to play nice and speak to people who have important positions, but 3rd grade reasoning and emotional resiliency.

understand the pricing of these...they are poison except to the disciplined short term trader. Short both sides of the vehicle if you are able. Case closed.

"understand the pricing "of these...they are poison except to the disciplined short term trader. Short both sides of the vehicle if you are able. Case closed." TOTALLY AGREE Tommy.
