i also want to point out a trend i see developing in miners w/the 3+yrs of lower gold prices , miners have been forced to cut costs . of course falling oil prices have been a big boon newmont came out w/earnings and their results point to success in the is regard . they went from a 751 cost cost for producing gold to 609 cost of producing gold this trend will be evidenced in all the miners, thus making them profitable even @1200 gold. this will be a boon to the whole sector w/acquisitions becoming a big part of what they do. explorers @this point are being valued for moose pasture dharma

tomorrow is the fed and the bradley. so dont smile yet.
apple plans to double the stores it has in china by mid 16.its revenues was 16.8 billion out of china and 12.2 billion out of europe. those nice shiny gold watches w/about 2oz of gold sold out very quickly in china and i expect the demand that apple creates on gold to be felt by the miners el salvador sold 80%of its gold for 200million. wonder who the buyer was? did it ever hit the market? meanwhile russia is selling ustreasuries and buying gold japan down graded to A . how long will greece hold onto its gold=give into the troika not very long
the stronger dollar is being felt in less profits for americas multi nationals
marty said yesterday dont be surprised if the dollar and gold go up together.
negative interest rates =the death of the middle class. that can occur quickly w/electronic money. difficult to imagine folks going for electronic money. of course everyone likes to eat!!!
miners starting to act better and the patterns look more friendly. i am still looking for lows in june. silver also came out of its falling wedge pattern. and according to ted butler, jpm is buying all the silver it can get its tentacles on. the picture is improving, but we are heading into the weak time of year. lets see how gold fares in those head winds.

w/few miners finding high grade projects pvg is a standout. it 1st came to market @6 a share in 10 and is about @that price today. even w/refinancing etc

I was wrong obviously for the short term and missed the recent rally. Still 1/3rd short trading position which I may increase today or early next week or stopped out soon. I do have some May Euro 1.06 calls however to cushion any potential short Gold loss. -tria

so far miners giving less ground then gold no new lows for the miners while gold makes new lows every important bottom that i have seen , shows miners acting better than the metal not saying we are there yet, because the cycle bottom in june but so far the action is encouraging dharma
