German PM Angela Merkel Can't Bring Herself To Say "German People"

“Merkel has sworn an oath to Germany, but she already has a problem talking about a German people. She prefers to speak of ‘population’.

“Germany is giving more and more sovereignty to the EU, the European Central Bank, to supranational organisations. I do not agree with this. The nation-state is the primary form of organisation for Germany. Where structures become too big, an undemocratic spirit quickly arises.”

During an event in 2015, Merkel was handed a small German flag only for her to appear embarrassed and hand it back.

Germany Laments Lack of Private Investment…

Wishes they were more like the US

“What I would wish for is more investments by the private sector,” Scholz said, pointing to a much higher willingness of companies and investors in the United States to put fresh money into new projects or business ideas.  “My wish is that we also achieve such a cultural change here,” Scholz said.

it is silly to watch the German finance minister lament the lack of investment into their economic system when these same politicians advance policies like: The Paris Climate Treaty, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership; in combination with high domestic tax policies against corporations and ultra-left-wing social benefits that necessitate the need for those high tax policies.

There is nothing the EU and China can do to stop the de-globalization process; and efforts to stimulate their economy with more quantitative easing (pumping money) while the global supply chains are being shifted, are futile.    https://theconservat...ate-investment/

stocks,

Your kissing Germany goodbye has now been going on for four years. This has to be the longest kiss on record, longer than Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman in "Notorious", longer than Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway in "The Thomas Crown Affair," and definitely longer than the previous record holder:

ELENA UNDONE

Congratulations! When you unlock your lips from Angela Merkel, take bow. cheer.gifcheer.gifbanana.gif

The Collapse in Germany is Real — and Accelerating

With the rising pressure outside the USA to eliminate cash in order to confiscate money from their citizens to support the broadening collapse of socialism, there has been a MAJOR panic pushing into the dollar.

The German yield curve is beginning to rise at the short end. The inversion is worsening. U.S. Treasury demand is still rising.

Is it any wonder that the European Council is finally beginning to change its tune about a potential deal with Boris Johnson on Brexit?

Germany is in trouble and with it the entire European Project. Good.
