it looks to me that this is going to be a stealth move for a period of time here.   so far there is nothing definitive .  what i like is so far the downside continues to be tested and not much headway has been made there. 1300 has not been tested , and its been months.  we are coiling the bb are showing that, so a big move is coming. patience is required . the market IS NOT BACKING OFF FROM THE BREAKOUT POINT  the tell for me is the miners are in the gutter. and have trouble catching a bid.

SLV may GAP the key 15.70 area this AM...

didn't quite gap it, but looks like it is about to get taken out anyway....this is the first big step towards breaking the downtrend line, so watching this area carefully this AM...

GDX with great looking breakaway gap, assuming it holds through 1st hour....

Key level GLD looks like 128.60...above that and likelihood the the large cup w handle formation breaks out upside grows stronger

GDX has been riding along the top of the Daily 900 for most of the last 18 months.

 

Now testing the 200 day MA....if it busts through, could signal the start of long lasting move upside....

SLV has the "trendicator" 72 MA, the 200 MA, and the 900 MA all within 6 cents of each other right now on daily chart, indicating severe compression.

 

Trying to push through the 72 this morning, with possibility all of them go by the wayside if this move gathers strength today...

so far looking spot on, lots of stuff at or breaking above key resistance - HUI for example nicely above 180 and at highest level since Feb 21, and da beat goes on.....
