I think you want  to look for end of day buying to get follow through higher the next few days, these late sells, yes they can run it up easily overnight only to get sold into the next day. Looks like another gap up to sell today. If you see a big reversal higher eod then it's time to buy the dips, and gap downs.

Double bottom in hourly Globex does not look good for a short setup right now.

One more high (3rd high since Mondays Low) above yesterdays high at most.

The rally if you look at it is extremely Corrective with the 1st leg = the 2nd leg (off by less than 2 points).

The one cautious thing to me is that, like I mentioned earlier in this thread, the longer the SP500 stays above the trendline ~2635/2640 and 2584, the more the Monday breakdown to be a failed breakdown.

Also the next rally, if there is one more high, better not get above 2710. Thats my other cautious point.

Overall the bearish setup is there. But as usual, nothing is guaranteed, hence my 2 cautious notes.

Sold to open Dec. 263C and Bought to open Dec. 28 267P net debit $0.50, already have a Jan. 4 270C to back stop the short.

This may turn out to be the 3rd volume signal failure since Stockcharts changed vendors, has to close 2650 first.
