For the bear case, and at this stage a wave 3 down (I dont see another pattern that fits better at this stage).

SP500 needs to reverse immediately and have continued deterioration of breadth.
Otherwise bear case done.

I guess we are just waiting on the right goal post  to fill, should be some awesome news to coincide with that event. :/

 

I don't like bull markets when they get this overextended for this long, but "THEY" will not let it drop, really why should they when they can collect 200 point swings from bag holders on both sides ?

The system went to a buy, got a one brick reversal print, although 40 points of paper gains went up in smoke prior to that.

Just that spreads are the only way to trade long after a big drop, ETF's aren't bad actually with these kind of swings, can't

really lose much if it reverses quick on you but make good on 100-200 point runs. You can give ETF's some room AND time

if you are wrong as well. Should not have missed the long but with options you have to have a plan ahead of time.

Yes, spent too much time trying to figure out a long option only that would work, none existed. You could buy 8 points out of the money with a month time, that might work eventually, but a lot can go wrong in that amount of time.
