GPS Spoofing for $300...What could go wrong?

Imagine being in an airplane or autonomous vehicle when it's GPS and satellite imagery go haywire...

 

I have always imagined that altering/disrupting GPS would be an excellent surprise in war mission execution. I was right.

In 2011, Iran spoofed an American drone into landing in the wrong place.

They captured it and have since cloned it.

Last year,  Iranian forces captured two U.S. Navy patrol boats and 10 sailors via GPS Spoofing

 

To protect Putin, Russia spoofing GPS signals on massive scale...

 

 

At least we have accurate satellite images to guide us...Or do we?
