It is the China-trade deal which is the elephant in the room. Charts have no clue what China is thinking.

I have lost count of how many posts I have done here saying China will try to prolong the deal past next election!

VST support at SPX 3075-3080 shall hold today, and followed by a bounce late today or tomorrow ......

RUT hourly....the only way you can look at this chart is to see that we are at a potentially MASSIVE pivot point...

 

IF, after trying to climb out over 1600 for nearly all of 2019, the dreaded "finger formation" completes and the bulls fail to hold 1600 on this back test, would be very hard to view that as anything other than extremely bearish.

 

OTOH, if RUT does hold in this area, and then takes out the recent high, would be hard to view that as anything other than extremely bullish..

 

Either way, should be some massive swing trading gains coming...SOON....

Ross was rolled out for more good trade news and this has helped the market to reverse

I have no idea why people seem obsessed with this "trade deal" stuff....

 

Price action will tell us anything meaingful long before anything in the "news"
