We have plans to be there in March of next year for a Viking cruise.  We have no plans to cancel the trip at this present time.  It's definitely a bucket list location!

Would be nice if Venice could once again becomes a great city instead of a tourist theme park.

"If you've heard this story before, don't stop me because I'd like to hear it again," Groucho Marx (on market history?).

“I've learned in options trading simple is best and the obvious is often the most elusive to recognize.”

"The god of trading rewards persistence, experience and discipline, and absolutely nothing else."

Venice's times are over. The town's declining history began when Columbus discovered the way to America through the Atlantic ocean. When that happened, the epicenter or world's trades moved westwards and the countries on the european atlantic coasts were favoured........read England. Before that Venice was a powerful democratic republic counting on the population of nowadays whole Veneto together with Brescia and Bergamo that currently are in Lombardy. Such a small european population was able to defeat the ottoman empire and keep the turks out of europe. Nowadays venice's destiny is fixed as its subsidence will make it disappear in two or three centuries..........
