As long as the FED printing press goes brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr (there is no end in sight), JPowell will always react to ANY meaningful decline. Interest rates are not going to rise. If they allowed rates to increase the accumulated debt will collapse the system. It's insane but it is what it is.

The top ten percent of the wealth holders in the USA must be protected, Everyone else can go pound sand.

Could always have a sharp 4-5% pullback. This is an election year and JPowell has his orders. Wait until election period for the real correction. Politics: The nation is divided and becoming a socialist government with non elected bureaucracies making policy. Gold and Miners are where I am and a pile of cash currently.

Probably a historical guide as to what the stock market might look like next year with a mildly inflationary backdrop.

Stocks go down, but, and big but now, Stocks can go down 20% for 3 months, or 36% in one month.  Other times they can go down 5-12% in a week or less.  Those are the new rules.

Just like this morning, RUT down, Breadth Down, Oil down, Dow down, NDX up some, and SPX just fights it off and turns everything green after the 1st hour or so.  Then the vaporization at the end of the day.  Poof.
