They need to reduce the transaction costs on the micro-minis if they want those things to last and draw in new traders. Crazy expensive, bad for business long term.

At Interactive Brokers, I think, the MES trades for $0.47 per side, and the ES trades for $2.08 per side. May be different for others based on their monthly trading volume. That implies equal leverage is $4.70 on 10 MES, and $2.08 on ES. You are correct if trading at TDAmeritrade, as I think MES is $2.47 per side, and ES is $7.00 per side. That implies $25 vs $7 which is crazy for sure. There may be a plan at TradeStation that offers some free futures trading but I thought that was only for ES, so not sure if the new MES was included, but you have to trade a lot to get that pricing.

I pay 0,37 per side CQG included with AMP
AMP futures is also a FCM and they don't charge commissions

I have a relatively small account with them, that I use exclusively for daytrading the MNQ with +/- 80/100 round trip a day saving 4/5k in a year
