I guess market was expecting a bad jobs report. Anyways a correction here would be a pause that refreshes.

The level of data massaging going on with the jobs report is most likely beyond whats measurable.....the bureau of labor bull even admits this. The better number is the number of workers receiving some form of unemployment benefits which is not seasonally adjusted. Simple to get the number. As of August 15 that was 29.2 million which was actually up 2.2 million from the prior week. Back at the front end of March the number receiving benefits was only 2 million. A long ways to go on Jobs.......

If the job numbers were bad, you can bet the media will not say the numbers are massaged.

Instead the media would attack the current admin.

So which is preferred by you? Good job numbers or bad job numbers?

You can't have it both ways.

I think theres an army of people that believe what ever the talking heads say on CNBC......it could even be the world is flat now. With that many people still on unemployment benefits, the Friday jobs report starts looking like the comedy act. After such a ridiculous break in the economy like this......going a whole month between super massaged reports is also absurd. We are not even close to getting the number below 20 million and its been months and months.
