Wow! Mind-blowing 9-gigapixel image of the Milky Way contains 84 million stars.

It is estimated that there are between 100 billion and 400 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy.

So this is only between 0.084% and 0.021% of the total.

I think I can see my house!

This is one of my favorite sites.

It's from colostate.edu

It offers several different Geo-synchronous satellite images of our earth in nearly real time.

You can see the amazing beauty of our planet; the cloud systems, storms, and even city lights at dusk.

Look carefully and you will see the sun's reflection in the ocean, lakes and even the Amazon river!

In  this particular photo, the sun looked th pass directly over the Panama canal area.

Over the time of several weeks you will even see the planet move from season to season by the Sun's reflection passing over the equator.

Going to Mars? No thanks.
