what the bulls want to see is a 5 wave impulse wave higher. so far on the 15 minute gdx chart the structure is perfect if we can get to or above 39.8 we will have that 5 waves up.

I took profits on my jnug this morning. GDX needs to get above 41 to start breaking out of it's bull flag.

Dougie, GDX chart has a trend for a low around the 4th of Nov, Gold chart disagreed and was looking at late Nov but this chart is obviously right, GDX is breaking out of it's bull flag now and should go and take out the Aug high and beyond.

At close of Wed Nov.4, Gold DSI was 27.
Not sure how much it moved by Friday close.

doing some buying here, also it appears we may see new gold lows below the Sep 27 low at 1849 level, and it appears very possible miners may diverge - so does gold finish its correction here and miners diverge? it is the BIG Q
BTW RUSS looks like a Nov low in gold is almost a gimme, good work!
