what s interesting to me in this chart https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E09ozVQVcAM8XDI?format=png&name=900x900

is it will be 100 years 2023 , that is where i see the 8yr cycle bottoming and the parabolic rise  beginning.   from 21 till then a bout of deflation where the presses will crank up

miners lagging here is the clue.  i look for big $$$  to be big buyers on this coming correction

just back from zion.  stayed in a cabin w/limited internet access    recharging the batteries. some amazing hikes . the place is fantastic. by 5pm most leave the park and by 730 the shuttle bus stops running and the park goes dead silent. deer and big turkeys would come and feed on the grass outside the cabin.  i love the national parks  . have done 5 since covid.   they are wonders of the world.

Top Link is broken.  I went to the Pacific Rim National park (Tofino) on Vancouver Island, surfer's paradise, a very lovely place to check out.

do you surf Russ?

I used to surf and scuba dive, but I have not done those things for decades, maybe I will have another go at the surfing some day, it gives a magical feeling of riding on the earth.  I'm restoring an old cabin cruiser and a 1920's queen anne dining table and set which is proving to be quite challenging, especially matching the stains that are on the parts I am not redoing.

russ , thats the thing getting older doesnt mean not having fun. the
national parks are amazing. well worth the time to get to. we have gone
to 6 since covid. and we enjoyed each.
since august this big correction has prevailed. all the while physical
supply has evaporated, setting the stage for the parabolic down the road

its still very much unclear to the general population that their money
(its actually currency, it is not a store of value)is being debased.
inflation is tough to get rid of once its seeps into the system. in the
later stages where folks dont want to hold currency and buy food etc
immediately upon receiving wages then the psychology has been set for
hyperinflation. right now every one has drunk the kool aid. i am
waiting to buy dba . if you dont dont do alot of dd on miners you are
much better off w/an index. mining is a very tough biz , its why i look
randy riefels approach .do the pea and sit back and wait for a buyer
he has made money for his investors in his career. i follow management
teams when they sell fronteer for example i see where they turn up next
right now w/all my research i have dead money in novo. hennigh has done
amazing things w/the company, but so far it has not translated into
higher stock prices. so i wait to see what happens there. meanwhile
there are lots of juniors out there that are doing bang up jobs.
this is all a process and it takes time.

i just wonder when this lower rate cycle runs out and its effect of
running out will have on stock priceshttps://www.lynalden...-cape-ratio.png

Yes it's good to stay active and keep enjoying life Dharma.  Btw... not sure if you saw my projection for SP500 for a low into mid June, that could keep the lid on gold for awhile.

gold testing the 1840 ceiling and backing away, it will take several trials to get through this level

longer term the metals picture gets more and more bullish.

stocks are way overvalued https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E1QEhSVWEAAUmET?format=jpg&name=large  the 99-2k runup looks like nothing compared to how overvalued stocks are now.  it seems w/yields through the floor folks lack imagination when looking for returns they look to faang which is way overvalued

if we dont get through the resistance here then we back and fill some more

what has me thinking is the attack on the colonial pipeline. this can cause a major disruption in gas and oil supplies. and will spill over to food. i dont know what is true at this point but i read colonial paid the 5mil ransom.  there is so much going on  and its difficult to know whats real ?????

the 26th is the full moon and the lunar eclipse. eclipses reveal things that were hidden from view.  then on june 10is a solar eclipse.  which i am thinking by then we should be starting the run higher.

the issue at some point going forward is going to be nationalization. it happened w/all the oil wells in the mid east in the 70s .  s/african miners in the 70s(and s/africa was the predominant area to mine gold back then) . i am alerting folks now , i cant tell you when its going to

happen but it will happen as governments become cash starved. today bob moriarity issues this warning  http://www.321gold.com/editorials/moriarty/moriarty051721.html

i like sleeping and waking up w/what i thought i owned.

heads up you have been forwarned.

lets see if we can close above 1853 the mid point of this price cycle
