So..after one has maxxed out contributions to IRA's, where is another place for some tax deferred trading?

Answer: Variable annuities! Worked great for me so far. All those capital gains are not taxable until I begin distributions from the annuity. And there is NO UPPER LIMIT on how much money you can invest.

$10 million? no problem. $50 million? no problem. On negative side annuities charge 0.25% for life insurance.

More positive is if you lose money, your death benefit never goes below what you put in. So your kids benefit.
