Well, what will be the catalyst of the next downfall....  Right now, we have money chasing money.. Things are getting expensive...  Wage index is at 13% which was revised upward from 4.4% ( bullish ).  Counter balances new home sales which are down.. With the high PE of US stocks and the narrowing of participation we could start to see the fall of the market at anytime, but I have also seen the narrowing disappear and we head higher...   But given the narrowing is more steeply defined this time should lead to a larger sell-off....

just a reminder...which was the subject of the post I cancelled. It's true that the stock indexes have recovered very well from both the 2000 bear market due to the burst of the tech bubble and the 2007 subprime crisis. But it' s also true that if you don' t trade future contracts and you just trade stocks like I do, well there are some like Deutsche Bank which was at 95 in 2007 and currently is at 6 and something and Commerzbank which has lost even more. And all the banks more or less are well below their 2007 values.......that' s the effect of a bear market

I'm a believer in the S&P = 10000 in 2035 theory. 2016 was the start of a new secular bull. But crypto is a different animal. When the scams and ponzi  like exchange systems are flushed out  crash will follow.
