If you bought the S&P 500 when the McClellan Summation Index was positive and rising, $10,000 would have become nearly $80,000 since 1962, with (relatively) low pain. If it was negative and falling, your $10,000 would have gained nothing. That's where we are now.

4490 to 4500 zone next up en route to 4465.
Bears in control unless 4565 recaptured as stated above
January has only put in *3* green days so far, with all bounces being sold and true for today's two bounces as well: 4565 was support, popped 20 points then rejected down Unless bulls can recapture 4565 (ideally before close) 4535-40 next down, gate to 4465 (4500 en route)

Like everyone I'm concerned about/expecting higher interest rates. Still, $TYX 120-month EMA is at 2.74%. Until 30-year yield rises above this EMA, it’s all talk and speculation. BUT, once it does everything we think we know about the bond market changes...and not for the better.

So, it did hit ES 4520 in cash session then dropped below that and now bounced a bit
Played frenetic defense today after the sharp reversal from above ES 4600 and ended with a modest profit
Profits in NQ daytrading, QQQ PUTS (460 and 450). smaller profits in CRUDE SHORTs and even smaller profit in VXX CALLS that were added before
the last hour plunge; losses in QQQ
Will close 2 or 3 more CRUDE shorts from the 6 I am holding now. CRUDE high today was 86.77, it is now 85.15
In LT Portfolio:
1100 QQQ, 10 QQQ 350 PUTS, 7 VIX CALLS
400 INDA
in RISK Portfolio
6 CRUDE SHORT
closed 2 Crude short
adding 100 QQQ
