Whew this volatility is exciting, I've been doing little trades inbetween for the first time in over a year lol!! Think the close today is going to be another exciting one!! With all this new intraday volatility I'm gonna go for it to be on the upside though lol!!

Just an FYI, I know guys that literally lost everything going home short puts on Oct 16 1987....It was to quote them, "A Sure Thing", premiums way too high... yada yada yada

So... IF... AAPL goes out below 163, I would think real hard about holding anything over the weekend......

MSFT earnings up Tuesday 1/25.....can they hold the stock above 300 until then???

Oh believe me I remember 1987 like it was yesterday, this is why I go cycle to cycle but today's market is truly different being all electronic, back then it was real buying doing the work. Today with the flip of a computer key this market could be green in 5 minutes, much different. I was in cash 3 days before the crash, didn't sell option premium back then. I actually figured it out and I would have been okay if I had sold puts because I don't trade in the money anyhow and always have lower protection if I have closer in trades. After today's finish I will calculate what Feb. is going to look like, going to be interesting I think. Btw, brought my average long down to 4474....might even go into the weekend with that we'll see....
