I am no astro guy but I have to ponder with the Merc retro Dec 29 situation and severe tax selling if we might not get a low in many markets, including gen stock mkt. For example, the Semis (SMH)look like a clear 5 up off the years Oct low (A or 1) and now a wave B or 2 retracement may be near completion and it also looks like the potential right shoulder of a large Head and Shoulders bottom. Assuming things like gold/silver/oil may be putting in secondary lows as well? just food for though, we see

like the gold and silver action so far today, miners ok and I think its end of yr crapola. I do have a relatively tight stop as I would not want to see any significant downside reversal today, best guess is we grind higher into close.
Merc retro comments: are we getting the merc retro low in gen mkt, bearish sentiment has been THICK as molasses and technicals extremely oversold, VERY interesting time frame

Like what I see "so far" for a potential low (possibly int term) in gen mkt. Interesting SMH action - did we see a gap fill from Nov 9, a wave v of c to end a correction, AND a right shoulder of a multi-month bottom? VERT interesting action
BTW as oversold as we are mkts usually either bottom or see a 10% or more crash type event, I think odds favor a low but one always has to see the other side, as always DYODD

Gawdawful tape action on Silver every time it peeks its head over 24...
Copper still hangin' in there at 3.80, but another trip under that level might not end so well....

So the way I see Silver here, unless we get an hourly close above 24.10, back test of 22 still most likely scenario as 4 hour momo completely shot.
Once Silver actually holds above 24, then there may be no holding it back for some time to come.
