in the usa there has never been a bear market that didnt end w/the vix being over 50

just my 2c

AND with SPX at a 14 p/e ratio...it's around 18 now..thus earnings projections are too hi...

Thought about buying it at $3.79, but got scared away by the LT chart.

Yeah. GDXU was up 12.6% today.

If this keeps going, pretty soon gonna feel like a bull mkt.

Rough idea of targets for this pause are spot 1808 and 22.50

I would not be fazed if it was more.

Told y'all DID NOT like the upthrusty action every time above 24, combined with the rapidly deteriorating momo...

 

In any event.....a HUMONGOUS pivot now set at 24 area.

 

Still think 22 handles will be seen, and then we see.

Daily chart shows the upthrusty, failure to hold 24 action nicely.

 

IF/WHEN those spikes get taken out, Silver should be good to go.

 

In the meantime, as long that 200 day is below the 900, still a possibility that bulls not out of the long term pen yet.

 

24 was a good place to take profits, and see how it plays from there...a full back test of the 900 day, as 200 starts to kink up, might not be a bad place to try an re-enter, should it get there.

 

A solid move over 24 before then would likely start to put daily chart on full bullish war footing.

 

Back below the 200 day before it turns up would likely no bueno.
