Biden came out again and called him a war criminal again and said he should be prosecuted. The importance of this: give the oligarchs and the Russian people as a whole a new reality. If they want things to get better Putin has to go. Don't expect things to be the same as before the war started. Russia has crossed the Rubicon.(EOM)

What effects will be on financial markets from a default on bond payments by Russia?

"The U.S. Treasury Department has halted dollar debt payments from Russian government accounts at U.S. banks, increasing pressure on Moscow to find alternative funding sources to pay bond investors.

BTW, has anyone noticed that Shanghai is on a total lockdown due to recent rise in COVID-19 cases there.  Many other cities currently are also on COVID lockdown in China.  This is not a good sign for the world's economy and for SPX earnings, especially  AAPL and TSLA .........................

it's crystal clear what those mother@@chers want........to consolidate the eastern part and possibly the southern one under their power. When that is achieved, when they have complete control on the population living in those areas, they will start to expand their occupation towards the remaining parts of Ukraine. This war will last a couple of years
