"Lunatic Trading"

The word stems from the Latin "luna" meaning moon, with the "atic" suffix meaning "of the kind of", according to the Oxford English Dictionary. The OED says the word originally referred to a kind of insanity supposedly dependent on the phases of the moon.

a man is ''lunatico''....men are ''lunatici''

 

a woman is ''lunatica'' .....women are ''lunatiche''   

 

a guy who is kind one moment and unkind the following moment is ''lunatico''..........

 

how simple English is compared to those languages who have one trillion different forms for basically the same thing

if you add that every substantive has a gender (masculine or feminine) you can imagine the mess

 

tiger (tigre) is feminine and needs feminine adjectives 

 

lion (leone) is masculine and needs masculine adjectives

 

the verbs then have six different voices for six different persons......I, you, he/she, we , you, they 

 

I drink, you drink, he drinks, we drink, you drink, they drink

 

Io bevo, tu bevi, egli beve, noi beviamo, voi bevete, essi bevono...... 

 

not to talk of perfect tenses and the conjunctive mode which doesn' t exist in English except the form ''if I were'' where that ''were'' sounds exactly like a conjunctive of ours
