Under 540 on UNH would be first real hint of possible trouble...

2nd hedge shorts

As posted, higher than usual hedging as geopolitical situation worsens.

Will also place 3 to 4 SELL STOP ES AND NQ ORDERS at least 1% below the current DAILY market lows, and adjudt up or down.

Building big TECH & ETF LONG positions, also SPY & QQQ CALLS. Will place STOP LOSS ORDERS ON THESE.

What worries me more than the markets, FED etc is the unstable geopolitical situation
NO KOREA firing missiles every night.... 
 
Will open 1 NQ & 1 ES hedge Short
 
Net account loss of 1.47% today as I loaded on LONGS - mainly AMZN, GOOGL, META, and later AAPL -  after the 3850-55 zone support was taken out. 
 
I expect this drop today to be ST, possibly ending tomorrow or Friday but there is now the higher probability of this latest leg down lasting for more than 2 to 3 days. It could drop below the current 2022 LOWS. 
 
I will try to manage this SHORT position with bigger HEDGES but will add more SHORTS if markets continue to drop below ES 3700
 
Basically, I want to be prepared to HEDGE more than I usually do if this drop intensifies and lasts more than a 2 to 3 days.

HIGH PROBABILITY OF Post midterm crash or BIG DROP
UNLESS FED dials back some of that reckless ULTRA HAWKISH talk.

I am calling for a devastating crash in the US equity markets thru the end of this week.
 
I believe that the speech by Powell today was a crystal clear statement that he is going to put the US into a recession.
 
Of particular concern being the statement where he indicated that he would over shoot on the rate increases and then pull back as needed.
