Since all sold in December I wonder if we will see a January effect in the new year.............................
The January Effect is the tendency for stock prices to rise in the first month of the year following a year-end sell-off for tax purposes.
We may see some of both.
A number of stocks look ripe to start plummeting very soon after New Years...
I just went covered all my short positions. My gut feeling is for a rally in the first week ..................

Placed limit orders to buy a few TESLA FEB 115 & 110 PUTS
Holding 5 March CALLS -- want to hold this for a while
BUT ST I think TESLA could plunge below 100
Holding all LONGS
will add more HEDGES only above ES 3860
Will add MARCH CALLS in AAPl, AMZn. GOOGL only below this week's current lows
ES could plunge below 3790 so I am waiting.... watching
However, I expect ES to close the year above 3850

Closed my long at 3867 to finish the day and year up a nice 17 points. Figured I should start fresh for the new year. Will be an interesting start for the night session this afternoon. Feels like the market has been closed so much this holiday lol!! Will be an interesting start to the year for sure, will we rally or not gonna be exciting!!!
