CPI much lower from 04% down to 0.1% MOM, and YOY also lower.................

 

So the Fed now is very likely to stop rate hiking at the next meeting.   I'd expect to see SPX 4200 soon ................

I see the recent bullish case for the general market is over as of today.  For now it's just holding here for a trigger to make a breakdown from the recent range.............................

BTW, big banks (JPM, BAC, etc.) will be reporting tomorrow before the open,  their views on the outlook will be the focus.  I doubt it will be rosy .......................

The market spent almost the entire day in consolidation digesting yesterday's gains, and then made a late day reversal from the ST support.  For now the name of game still is buying dips and selling bounces ........................

Still a trendless market with dips bought and bounces sold.  However, now the game is close to the end  ...........................
