JUST NOW: McCarthy said he would be opposed to Biden using the 14th amendment to lift the debt limit.

14th amendment does not say anything at all about raising the amount of debt.

 

All it says is the existing debt shall not be questioned

 

And it also says only debt authorized by law.

The only body authorized to borrow is the congress, not some senile out of control idiot. For exactly this reason!

 

This is one of the more absurd ideas floated yet by current admin. Total Clown World.
