I warn you.....posting bullish comments lately in this forum is the best way to receive an avalanche of insults, the kindest one being of the type ''what are you doing here ?''
However there's a tennis player in the ATP circuit that gets stronger when the crowd is against him......I'm of the same nature and I use insults to clean my @@@

After all the short interest of S&P 500 stocks has always been around 2%. 98% of equities are held long. Why would it be any different? Occasionally people get bearish. Me too. But the short interest never changes.
Bears just get vocal and get headlines because of sensationalism.
But calling yourself a contrarian while belonging to 98% is kind of strange.

Hmmmmm just like you've were quiet for a year and a half as the market tanked lol!! Looks like this will be my first loss in over 30 months trading both ways so not that concerned about it but the important thing is I posted everyday lol!!

....interesting how every European or European derived culture, has got similar forms
