All year long I have been short NQ futures and short NQ put options on futures.

Surprisingly, I am up year to date.

But it seems in the last month or two, CQG does not recognize that if the put option is exercised, the short NQ position will be covered.

So, if I am short one NQ futures contract and short one put on NQ futures, CQG says something like "max possible position is two contracts."

My FCM says to just increase max number of contracts. I do not like this solution. If I were to make a mistake, or worse, go crazy in a bad market, I could end up divorced.

When I am long a futures contract and short a call, CQG seems to understand the position.

But being short two instruments messes them up.

Also, any thoughts on whether NQ drops decisively below 15500?
