AAPL -- the markets bell cow -- seems to be headed for the barn -- and most of the herd follows. Not the slaughterhouse but the barn -- for a needed rest.

I have no position.

GOLDMAN: Todays report further reduces the possibility of a September hike and is consistent with our view that the #FOMC will decide that a final hike is unnecessary at the November meeting. We continue to expect unchanged policy for the remainder of the year.

Well that was weird.  Had a short on overnight from 4490 and put on a profit stop at 4485 just before the inflation data and even though the market went no where and down I was stopped out for 5 points.  Nonetheless starting a new short at 4475 and build back from there.  These high yields are not good and add in the coming slowdown is not good all around. As I type were going down, profit stop for the cash open 4474...

Adjusting to 4470 and taken out for another 5 point profit.  Have to say even though interest rate yields are so high the market is resisting going down to much.  Reminds me of the last year and a half grinding away again lol!!  Oh well the bulls had a month out of the past 2 years, now they gotta earn it again lol!!  Not ready to go long yet so will wait to sell again but that may all change after the cash market opens!!
