If rates keep going up...

High rates equal lower PE multiples.

Having a multiple over 20 is a recent phenomenon over the last 20 years of lower rates.

Someone --pretty soon - will need to call 911. All banana republics have these things in common: worthless bonds yielding double digit interest rates; rising interest rates and falling currency. US will be no different perhaps, worse.

Did you follow what happened in Maui with public water? There are reservoirs and canals full of water held in reserve for some people(Democrat donors) while native lower income Hawaiians  homes were allowed to burn down becasue water and electricity was cut off. That's why Biden said "No Comment", he knew.

"how we got complete morons in charge of so many things is shocking"

We should stop thinking in these terms.  'Moronic' implies foolishness or stupidy - argualbly innocent behavior.  Not very likely.  The people in charge got there somehow - it's doubtful they are stupid.  Greedy?  Corrupt?  Criminal?  Much more likely...
