I'm considering opening an account and moving some funds to IBKR to reduce my uninsured equity risk with my current broker.  Any feedback on IBKR customer service/availability by phone (or lack thereof), fills, trading platform and reliability, etc., would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, Interactive is pretty good overall although they have much higher margin rates but are great for portable trades on your phone.  I have mainly used RJ Obrien now for years but only on the computer, mainly for selling options not their ap.
